How to Apply

ADMISSION PROCESS (UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO):

Step 1: There will be a study abroad interest meeting in the fall semester—watch your e-mail for notification. If interested in participating in the Sustainable Futures Program, it is a good idea to talk to Martha Bohm or Chris Romano, faculty in the Architecture Department. You are also encouraged to talk to some of the students who had attended in previous years to learn of their experiences.

Step 2: Students are required to have their application submitted to the Study Abroad Office by early December. (See email for specific dates.) During the fall semester there will be another meeting at the Department of Architecture to introduce the Sustainable Futures program and to answer any questions.

Step 3: You will be notified of your acceptance by the end of December.

Step 4: Get your passport and your plane ticket.

Step 5: Follow the instructions as laid out by the Study Abroad office for preparation for the program.

Step 6: Go to Costa Rica for the summer!
