Upamanyu is a Senior Communications Associate at the Sustainable Futures Collaborative (SFC). He translates complex research on climate policy, clean energy, and sustainable alternatives into engaging, compelling narratives across diverse formats. Before joining SFC, he was a Programme Officer at the Centre for Science and Environment, where he worked on climate finance, multilateral climate negotiations, and the political economy of climate. He also managed the production of a monthly podcast and a weekly newsletter while writing for the environmental news outlet, Down to Earth. Previously, he worked with socio-environmental advocacy groups including Greenpeace India and Kalpavriksh, where he supported research and institutional outreach. Upamanyu holds a Master's degree in Development from Azim Premji University and a BSc (Honours) in Statistics from the University of Delhi.
